AMD – January 2021 - December 2023
Rockman Kevin Rockmann is a Professor of Management and Dean's Scholar at the George Mason University School of Business. His primary research area is psychological attachment and relationship formation and as such he is particularly interested in theories of identity, social exchange, and attachment. He particularly enjoys studying distributed, on-demand, and other non-traditional work contexts. His research has appeared in Academy of Management Discoveries, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Annals, Organization Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and other outlets. His research has also been covered by Time, The New York Times, NPR, Forbes, and the Chicago Tribune. He is the lead author of the newly published textbook Negotiation: Moving from Conflict to Agreement (Sage). He is a past chair of the Managerial and Organizational Cognition (MOC) Division of the AOM. In addition to biking he enjoys spending time exploring the world both near and far with his wife Alison and two daughters, Naomi and Blake. 

Academy of Management Learning & Education
AMLE – January 2021 - December 2023
Hibbert_AMLE Paul Hibbert began his academic career after 15 years in industry and management consultancy. He is a Professor of Management at the University of St Andrews, Scotland and an Honorary Professor at the University of Auckland Business School. He has experience of senior leadership roles such as Head of the School of Management, Dean of Arts and Vice-Principal for Education at the University of St Andrews.

Paul has also fulfilled leadership roles in learned societies and has extensive editorial experience. He has been a member of the Council of the British Academy of Management, and from 2018-2019 he was the Chair of the Management Education and Development division of the Academy of Management having previously filled the roles of PDW Chair and Program Chair. Paul is currently an Associate Editor of Academy of Management Learning & Education and is a former Associate Editor and editorial board member of both the Journal of Management Education and Management Learning. He is also an editorial board member of Organizational Research Methods. His research has been published in those journals and other leading international outlets, such as the Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies and Organization Studies. His research has been recognized with awards from Academy of Management Divisions, the Australia & New Zealand Academy of Management and the British Academy of Management.

Paul is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. He received his MBA and PhD from the University of Strathclyde, in Scotland.

Taneja_Proceedings Sonia Taneja, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business at Texas A&M University–Commerce. Dr. Taneja’s primary research focus and publications are in the areas of management from the strategic perspective, such as Redefining Strategic Management, Culture of Employee Engagement, Leaping Innovation Barriers to Small Business Longevity, Empowerment from the Gender Perspective, Crisis Management, and Management History. She has published in a number of scholarly peer-reviewed journals including, Journal of Business Strategy, Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship, International Journal of Sustainable Strategic Management, Journal of Management History, and Delhi Business Review. Dr. Taneja has received a number of research and teaching excellence awards including the McGraw-Hill/Irwin Distinguished Paper Award in 2010. In addition, she has served in many capacities for professional conferences and scholarly journals including reviewer, editor, and guest editor for Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship. Also, she is a member of the Academy of Management and the Beta Gamma Honors Society. At Texas A&M University–Commerce she leads the College of Business Curriculum Committee to manage the curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She also has teaching experience in business schools in India and experience in consulting services in the area of business planning to corporate organizations. Dr. Taneja developed training seminars in management, built an effective network with corporate organizations, and achieved successful coordination and communication between corporate associates and students seeking employment in India. Prior to joining academia in the United States, Dr. Taneja worked as a Business Analyst for Target Corporation in their corporate offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Academy of Management Review

Thatcher_AMR Sherry M.B. Thatcher is the J. Henry Fellers Professor of Business Administration at the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She also currently serves as the Chair of the Management Department. Her Ph.D. is in organizational behavior from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (2000). Prior to joining U of SC she served on the faculties of the University of Louisville and the University of Arizona. She also spent a number of years developing businesses in Micronesia and working throughout Southeast Asia.

Her research interests focus on diversity, identity, and conflict, and she is one of the leading experts in the area of team faultlines. Her work appears in the top journals of our field, including the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Systems and Decision Support Systems. Sherry has received numerous awards including the prestigious Educational Foundation Award for Research from the University of South Carolina in 2016 and numerous best paper awards. She has given over 100 presentations related to her research and is often hosted by international universities as a visiting scholar. Her research has been funded by both private and public organizations, including the National Science Foundation. She has served as an Associate Editor at the Academy of Management Review and serves or has served on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Small Group Research, and Group and Organization Management.
